Kitchari is a nourishing mung-dal & rice porridge-like dish from India which is eaten during a cleansing period or when someone is sick. In Ayurveda, it is considered a perfect & complete food due to it's ability to nourish and heal the gut and the body.
This is the kitchari recipe is what I used for my husband and I during our recent 3 Day Kitchari Cleanse. It is really easy to make and quite delicious!
