Morning & Evening Routine for Detox Days

Here are some ​Simple Morning & Evening Routines to incorporate into your days to make the most out of your detox:

MORNING ROUTINE:
  • Upon waking, take a moment of gratitude
  • Scrape your tongue using a tongue scraper to remove unwanted bacteria and toxins.
  • Drink a warm glass of water to stimulate the colon (you can add lemon juice and honey)
  • Move your body: Stretching, Walking, or Yoga
  • Sit in quiet or practice meditation for 5-30 minutes, depending on what your schedule allows.
  • Eat breakfast
 
EVENING ROUTINE:
  • Eat dinner before 7pm, if possible.
  • Light a candle and turn off florescent or harsh light bulbs around the house.
  • Take a shower or bath to wash off and cleanse & refresh yourself from the day.
  • Turn off your electronic gadgets or put on airplane mode.
  • Drink a glass of warm water. If you have trouble sleeping, drink a glass of warm milk (can also be almond or coconut milk) with turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and raw honey.
  • Take 5-20 minutes to reflect on the day, take a few deep breaths, let go of any negativity, give gratitude, and sit in a moment of quiet.
  • Sleep by 10pm.
